Our active Social Committee with the support of the Board of Directors
plans a variety of fun and interesting activities for the neighborhood throughout the year.
These events are a great way to get to know your neighbors, and are why we're known as such a friendly community.
There are activities for children of all ages, and adults, too.

Holiday Decorating Contest Winners

What a wonderful display of lights and decorations graces our neighborhood! 
The festive and beautiful work that so many of our residents have done
make Cantamar the envy of Cutler Bay once again!

The many homes worthy of serious consideration for award
made the judges' job so difficult that they agreed to award multiple prizes.
First-place winners were chosen in 2 categories:
lakefront home and non-lakefront home.
The first place winners will each receive a $50 prize.
The judges also named 2 homes as honorable mention

The winners are:

First-place lakefront home: The Minoletti family, 8753 SW 206 Lane
First-place non-lakefront home: The Gonzalez  family, 20760 SW 91 Court

Honorable Mentions:
The Santiago family, 20776 SW 91 Court
The Ramirez family, 8850 SW 204 Street

We thank all who participated and look forward to
further expanding the categories and awards next year.

Santa Visited Cantamar!

On Sunday afternoon, December 11th, Santa stopped by our entrance park.
Children and adults enjoyed taking photos with Santa, and face painting.

Halloween Pics

Even though the Halloween Party had to be cancelled,
it still turned out to be a great night in Cantamar.
Claudia handed out the favor bags from her garage,
Jesse still did his haunted house, and
many homes were decorated in the spirit of the evening.
And there were a TON of trick-or-treaters!!

Community Garage Sale a Success!

Here's what one particpant had to say:

“We LOVED the garage sale!
Perfect day to do it and even got to meet some
neighbors who shopped around!
Everyone who came said that they read about it in The Flyer.
We ended up putting some signs up on Old Cutler going north
because it was slow, but it picked up tremendously from 9 am - 11 am.
I thought that our community signs were done with
excellence, and felt proud to be a resident of Cantamar!
