Meet Your Board (board@cantamarhoa.org)
 |
Adrian Lopez, President
To all those who don’t already know me personally (besides being, “The Guy with the Nice Lawn”), I was born in New Jersey and was raised in Miami. I met my wife, Rubi, in high school, and we graduated together from Southwest Miami High School. I continued my education in Fire Science and Emergency Medical Services. I am currently a Fire Fighter/ Paramedic for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
I am honored to have the opportunity to work in collaboration with my neighbors on the Board and committees for our community. I enjoy helping the citizens of Miami-Dade at work and will further enjoy helping our community as a Board Member. I look forward to working together toward a goal to make Cantamar a better and safer place to live and raise our families. |

Sissy is the Board's Secretary. She has been informally assisting the Board since its inception in 2006. Sissy is a Cantamar resident as of April 2006 and she, along with her husband Allen and two sons (Michael and Eric) is extremely happy to be living in this community reminiscent of the close-knit neighborhoods of the '50's. Sissy is originally from Puerto Rico, but she lived 9 years in Pasadena, California prior to moving to Miami. She has been a Miami resident since 1991. |

Professionally, I have over 15 years of experience working in the Florida real estate industry. I graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor's of Accounting degree. I am currently VP of Operations and Managing Broker at Greenwich Development Group. |

Tom Doherty, Director
A result of a job transfer after being at Newark Liberty Airport for 20 years, The Dohertys decided it was time for a change back in 2005 and relocated to South Florida. I am the General Manager for Allied Aviation Fueling Miami Inc. at Miami International Airport. I got involved in the aviation business after serving 6 years in the United States Marine Corp. My wife's name is Gail and we have been married for 25 years. We have one son, Dylan, who is 21 and is currently attending Pharmacy School in Boston. Our daughter Kyllie is 18 and currently remains in NJ. I have always been very active in many different organizations, doing my part to contribute either through a church-based organization or a community-based organization. I have sat on several boards and look forward to being a contributing member to our community and those that make up Cutler Bay. |

Meet Your Committee Chairs
 |
Jesse Revilla, Chair, Architectural Control & Grievance Committees (arc@cantamarhoa.org, grievance@cantamarhoa.org)
Born in New Jersey of Cuban heritage, a good part of my upbringing came from NJ with a splash of south Texas (Mc Allen, TX). I attended the University of New Orleans, and finished my studies in NJ. I’ve been a resident of Miami for twenty years. I met and married my wonderful wife Frances here in Miami. We will soon celebrate 19 years married--April 21st, 1990. We have two wonderful children, a son of 15 and a daughter of nine.
As a family, we love the beach, fishing, baseball / softball, riding bikes, watching movies together and road trips. Soon we plan to try camping. Funny, we have the gear, but it is yet to be soiled.
Professionally, I work in the energy industry for a local utility, specializing in (commodities) natural gas futures and some crude, end user based only. |

Tatiana [Totsie] Walton, Chair, Commmunications Committee
Brian Walton, Webmaster (webmaster@cantamarhoa.org)
Totsie is a second-generation Miami native. She went to college in Michigan (MSU) to see snow (4 years was more than enough snow) where she met Brian. Brian's a native of Washington state, who moved to Michigan in junior high. When they graduated from college, it was an easy decision to return to Totsie's roots in Miami. They were married in Wainwright Park 32 years ago.
Having both majored in advertising, they worked for several local ad agencies until Brian was offered a position with Disney in the late '80s. After 16 years in both Orlando and southern California, they returned to Miami six years ago when Brian became Senior Director of e-Marketing and New Media for Sandals and Beaches Resorts. Totsie is a freelance Art Director/Graphic Designer.
This is their third Homeowners' Association.
